Specially curated for summer residency by Abstract Magazine.

I’m an American Egyptian artist deeply inspired by science, philosophy, religion, and history—ways we search for meaning and try to understand our place in the universe. My work draws from microbiology, neurology, cosmology, physics, and ideas like assembly theory and consciousness studies. I believe consciousness is fundamental—not just something we have, but something that shapes how we experience reality. Through abstract forms, patterns, and movement, I explore the tension between what we can measure and what we feel, creating pieces that reflect both the structure of the universe and the inner world of perception and inviting viewers to take a closer look.

I graduated from the School of Visual Arts in New York City with a BFA in Graphic Design and have spent over two decades working across the creative industry. I grew up in New Jersey, studied and started my career in New York, and now live in Los Angeles, where I work as a Creative Director for a software company. My art practice runs in parallel, rooted in curiosity, cross-disciplinary thinking, and a constant search for deeper understanding.
